Dan Ausec recognized as the 911 Authority Employee of the 1st Quarter

The Authority staff nominates their coworkers each quarter for going above and beyond. Based on the team's nominations, it is our pleasure to announce that Dan Ausec, CAD/GIS Manager, is the Employee of the First Quarter. Here is an excerpt from his nomination:

"I would like to nominate Dan Ausec for Employee of the Quarter for his outstanding work managing the Building Expansion Project over the past year.

In addition to his regular duties, Dan stepped up to essentially serve as the project manager for the committee. He connected with a commercial real estate broker, researched potential properties, prepared documentation, scheduled meetings, tracked progress, and kept everyone informed along the way. Most recently, he demonstrated creativity by having a member of his GIS team develop a visual interactive mapping approach that helped board members better understand the property options and project considerations. He also served as the spokesperson at the monthly board meetings, presenting information and updates to the Board of Directors.

What makes this effort particularly impressive is that Dan handled all of this while continuing to manage his normal workload as well as onboarding and training a new team member. Dan is greatly appreciated for his dedication, organization, and strong time management skills in keeping the project moving forward.

For all these reasons, as well as Dan’s willingness to take initiative and support the organization beyond his regular role, he is the perfect recipient for Employee of the Quarter."
